LOVE Foundation

Education

Discontinued

August 2015

One of my earliest WordPress projects, developed for Life Oriented Value Education using a custom Bootstrap 3 theme and hosted on Amazon EC2.

Project Overview

LOVE Foundation (Life Oriented Value Education) needed a website to share all about the organisation and give visitors a simple way to get up to speed on the work they do and get in contact with them. I built the website back in 2015 using WordPress - I gave it a custom Bootstrap 3 theme and hosted it on Amazon EC2 using Apache2.

Building this project really got me involved in putting up and maintaining WordPress websites in a real world environment. As well as actually creating the website, I sorted out the hosting side of things, got Google Analytics and Google Search Console up and running, and made sure the site was all set for regular use. Even though the website is no longer online, the work on it still forms the base of my experience with WordPress development and server setup.
